Tacoma Academy String Orchestra (TASO)

Tacoma Academy String Orchestra (TASO) builds upon and extends string students’ technical and musical skills while learning crucial teamwork skills in an orchestral setting. Under the baton of Ms. Karen Helseth, TASO provides three public performances each year in addition to an annual community performance.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals for Academy Strings are held on Saturdays from 12:15 PM to 2:00 PM in Studio 2 of the Tacoma City Theaters.

Absences

Please direct all schedule and emergency absence information to your studio manager and not the TYSA office. Absences must have a completed Request Form turned in.
