Please carefully read through the instructions on this page, then complete and submit the online EMF registration form below.
Step 2
Pay your non-refundable deposit or full payment in order to secure your place. You can pay online (click here to go to our payment page) or by mailing in a check to the TYSA office. Checks may be mailed to 901 Broadway, Ste 500, Tacoma, WA 98402.
Session Information
EMF Session 1
July 13 – 17, 2026 • Pacific Lutheran University
Musicians meet for daily classes, rehearsals, music theory, recreation time, and instrument-specific coaching sessions. The program is designed for string, woodwind, brass, and percussion musicians entering grades 2-8 in the upcoming school year. Musicians are encouraged to have a minimum of one (1) year of experience on their instrument.
Tuition
Deposit: $150
Early Bird tuition: $435 (please submit deposit by May 15)
Standard tuition: $485
Balance is due by July 1.
Need-Based Financial Aid
If you need tuition support, please complete and submit the financial aid application below by June 1.
Facilities
Session 1 will be held at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
