Shelly Myers is currently the Artist Affiliate in Oboe at Pacific Lutheran University, serves as 2nd oboist with the Olympia Symphony, and freelances in the Seattle, WA area. Prior to moving to Seattle, she served not only as Associate Professor of Oboe, but also as the Assistant Director, and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Alabama School of Music from 2005-2016. Ms. Myers has toured throughout the United States and Canada as both a soloist and chamber musician with The Cavell Trio. Shelly’s life in Seattle also includes spending time in the outdoors downhill skiing and hiking.
