Mikhail Shmidt was born in Moscow, Russia and began his musical education at the age of five. One of the highlights of Mikhail’s Russian career was collaborating with composer Alfred Schnittke. Since immigrating to the United States in 1989, Mikhail has established himself as a leading chamber musician and is a member of the Seattle Chamber Players.
